It was a bittersweet moment when our family heard of President Hinckley's passing last night. The world will morn the loss of this sweet man, but I'm sure the heavens rejoiced to welcome him home. We are grateful for all the councel and wisdom and the legacy of hope that he left behind for our family. How blessed we feel to belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and enjoy the peace that comes from a knowledge of the restored gospel. We are also so grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ and his Atonment which brings the promise of eternal life and a chance to be reunited with our loved ones.

I totally agree! My first thought was sadness, but then I thought about the big bash they must be having to welcome him home. I think it is also comforting to know that with his passing, there is no disorder in the church. As members we know this is Heavenly Father's plan and His will be done.
Thank you for posting such a sweet message about President Hinckley. He was such a great man and I know he is probably happy to be home with our Heavenly Father and dear wife.
