My "Other" Blog and the Best Marriage Class Ever!
We just finshed seven weeks of marriage class put on through our church (see "My Faith" section down the sidebar for more info). I had no idea how much better our marriage could be!Brian went dragging his feet (afterall this is just two more hours of classes added to the eight plus he does each week, kinda can't blame the guy), but we both loved the experience. Beacuse of all the information we recieved, I decided to start another blog so I could write down great ideas I get or perspective I gain from people and experiences in my life. I am a terrible journal keeper, so I guess this is kind of a substitute. You can find the link on the sidebar if you want some heavier reading. Feel free to leave me comments if you have heard a great parenting/marriage/survival tip or observed someone who figured something out that needs to be shared. Enjoy "Two Mosquitos In A Tent"!
Warning: To date their are no pictures and it is just my rambling thoughts.

Aunt Cletty's Sweet Hook-ups
Mommy Party
The benefits of having a sister that is pregnant with you is that when you both crave lunch at 10:20am, you both look insane together. So off we headed to Paradise Bakery for half salad/sandwich meals. Lukey and Jeffey were along for the ride and both enjoyed their festive cookies. When we walked in, Lukey said: "This is a party, right mom?" Yep, Lukey!

When Mommy's Away...
It's too early for morning sickness, cravings or bedrest, but I am officially exhausted! I forgot how tired pregnancy makes you, and I think it is amplified by three little boys running literaly all over me all day.
Today I put a movie on for the boys and laid down for a nap at 3:30pm and woke up at 4:45 when Brian called. I went into the living room and Lukey was asleep on the floor, Jeffey was naked and Ben had eaten three applesauces and half a box of Cheese-Its. Glad to know my boys are a little more self-sufficient this time around!!

What are the odds?
"Although we often hear the "statistic" that you are 30% or even 70% more likely to keep having the same gender, this is just an old wives tale. It is NOT a fact. The truth is, your odds stay pretty close to 50% for each child and only vary slightly. If you have had 2 or 3 boys, you are only about 2% to 6% more likely to have another boy. If you have had girls, you are slightly more likely to have a boy next." (taken from the National Longitudinal Study of Youth conducted by the US Dept. of Labor.)
So, sometime in October we will welcome the fourth baby into our home, and according to this study we are still about 50/50 on the gender! We are so excited, as are the boys. Ben thinks it is a girl, and Jeff and Lukey are predicting another brother. As for me, I am just going to hold my breath until the ultrasound, probably cry a bit either way and try to wrap my head around being a mom of FOUR!!!!

Hiking, Running, Basketball and Football
The rest of January was spent participating in or cheering for sporting events!
On "The Good Doctor's Birthday" as Brian calls Martin Luther King Jr. Day we went to Hole in the Rock to take the boys on a little hike. There is something magical about the combination of dirt, rocks and little boys...they had a blast!
My hot hubby actually had a day off and we loved spending time as a family.
The Anselmo's joined us and we had a great picnic lunch afterwards.
Matt is always such a great help with our boys when we go on these outings. He helps Brian keep them safe and Kim and I take pictures...stellar combo.
Ben loved the dirt and climbing everywhere.
Jeffey was also in his element.
It was such a beautiful day, I can't believe this is January.
Brian and Ben showing their muscles.
Me and my boys.
The whole blurry family...oh well!
My nephew Noah ran in his first little cross country race, here we are waiting for him to cross the finish line.
Last Saturday we helped celebrate cousin Tyler's eighteenth birthday and went to the ASU basketball to cheer on Daddy's team. It was a bit of a busy time having all three of the boys there, but we managed just about the whole game. I felt like Aunt Gayle buying all the treats and passing them down the row.
The blue cotton candy was a crowd favorite.
Go Devils!
I made these cupcakes to take to Ben and Jeff's school. I had some issues making the red, look red and still taste good so we ended up with Steeler's colors...oops. ( I still thought they were cute and so did the boys) Maybe this is why the Cards lost!
I had some friends from Canada in town and they were so excited to go to an American Super Bowl Party (I still think it is really cool!) We had so much fun hanging out with friends and eating way to much. Thanks again to the Anselmo's for a great party.
This girl is my all-time hero. I fell in love with this cake. I can't wait to take some classes from her this summer. Way to go April. You can check out her stuff at http://www.designercakesbyapril.blogspot.com/ ...truely amazing!
