Of Goodly Parents...

This past week Brian went to Canada on a business trip. He was gone from Wed to Sat night and I had prepared for the worst. I think in the end it was harder on him than on us! I have such a wonderful family that stepped in and helped me in so many ways to make the week so much fun. My sisters family helped out with a big Ninja Turtle Birthday party for Noah. It was so well planned and the boys had a blast bouncing in the Rocket ship and squirting Shredder with water guns.

I have to mention how amazing my parents have been this week and over the last few years of my life. I was so reminded these last few days of how fortunate I am to have such a wonderful father and mother. They are such "doers", my dad spent two days cleaning my yard and building the boys a new swing set from scrap wood, which they adore and oocupies them for hours at a time. The slide is so wide we can race all the lightening mcqueen cars down it at once!! On Friday night they both came over and helped me clean the house, my mom emptied my tub full of laundry and my dad did the days worth of dishes. They played with my boys and called to check on me, changed diapers and anything else that I needed. And this is simply this week. We don't know where we would be without them and the countless hours of help they have given us with all my pregnancies and various medical needs that we have had. I love them so much for honoring my choice of husband and having such great love and patience with the boys. I am so glad they are close especially at this time in my life. Thanks Grandma and Papa!!!!

Yep, still in love!

With our little boys running around and Bri gone so much it has been easy lately for me to lose focus and get a little overwhelmed...so before he started his new job, Brian took me out on the town this weekend. (Thanks to everyone for their suggestions) We left our babies with my sister (thanks D and Marsh, Mom, Dad, Maurine and and Aunt Cletty) and got away...where to you ask? Home! We went for lunch at Dilly's, thanks to Kim's post about her fav sandwhich, went to Last Chance, The Buttes (just to lay out), Cold Stone, ASU campus, Movie, dinner and then we went home. No packing, no bags to unpack that would still be laying in my room and without the boys we actually slept in. It was wonderful! We went to the temple in the morning, had lunch and went to get the boys. I honestly don't know why I try to make life so complicated. We really just needed a simple Phoenix date weekend. What a great place to live. Thanks Bri for a fantastic time, and the cute ASU tee!

Easter Fun!

Daddy stayed at home and iced his leg, while the boys and I went to an easter egg hunt with friends at a local seniors center. We dyed eggs with friends and had such a fun weekend hanging out as a family.

Dying eggs with friends...no shirts allowed.

I think Ben looks so old in these pics. He loved hanging out with his buddy Caitlyn and the seniors couldn't get enough of them!

We are now three days out and Lukey will still not part with his basket!

Happy Birthday Babe!

Here's to thirty-one great years, and to think I've got to spend six of them with you!
Brian Top Ten List:
1. You are a great daddy. Ben told me today that he likes you the best even if your knee is hurt and you can't play.
2. You are half Canadian. Very important!
3. You have a wonderful family.
4. Your incredibly romantic.
5. You buy me gym pants and get the style and size right on your own.
6. You are a whiz with our finacial well-being... at least one of us is.
7. I sleep better when you are home.
8. You always manage to suprise me for holidays.
9. You can wash dishes, fold shirts the right way, and have mopped the floors on several occasions. (You can take care of everything whenever I'm on bedrest!)
10. You make my life great!
Happy Birthday, have a great day and a fun night at school :) Love you
PS. Thought you'd like the pic now that you are on the mend!

Great Find!

Just wanted to let everyone know, I found the best carpet cleaning company. My carpets look brand new and that is saying a lot if you've been to my house recently. They were honest, reliable and so efficient. My carpet dried quickly and the price was great. (It has been a few days and the spots aren't coming back) If anyone needs to add this job to their spring cleaning, I would highly reccomend. I thought I'd pass a great find along, hope it helps someone.
Their name is Evolution and their number is 480-838-0600

A Flower is Worth a Thousand Kisses

Anyone who knows me well, knows that I long for a pink little bundle of joy to come home with me from the hospital one day. Then, there are days like today that make me wonder how I was so lucky to get three little boys to make me smile.

Picture the scene:

It was about 9am in our home this morning and I was just rolling out of bed. I stayed up with Lukey all night and Bri let me sleep in. I began to get my day started making breakfast and getting little men dressed when I saw a tiny Jeffey gingerly walking across the gravel in his bare feet, wearing nothing but his striped undies and carrying a daisy in his little fist with a huge grin on his face. He looked at me and said, "Mommy I picked this for you!" I gave him a hug and soon it began a stream of boys bringing me flowers (which I would have pulled as weeds!). Soon I had a cup full of daisy heads (they don't quite grasp the concept of picking the stem yet) to sit on my counter. Brian sure has taught them well. What a wonderful way to start the day!

I'm Big Too!

He just wants to be as big as his brothers...I couldn't resist posting this pic!
