My Heros!

As always no one has more fun than Mom at Halloween. Thinking of costumes in June is one of my favorite pastimes. This year was trickier because Benjamin acutally had an opinion. The way he will tell you is that Jeff is Underdog (Ben's idea), Ben is Spiderman and Luke is the Spider that bit Peter Parker. It was a bit of a stretch to get a theme this year, but they definately were little superheros! Ben sat patiently while I painted his face and when I was done Jeff said "Ben can climb walls". We had a great night and by the end even our shy Jeff was running to the houses saying whatever he needed to to get a treat. We met up with our good friends Jake, Tiffany, Hallie and Cameron for some fun pictures. What a fun family night!

Halloween Fun

We went to a friend's Halloween party this weekend and had a great time. If you don't watch The Office, we may just look like ourselves (which is kind of scary), but if you do you might recognize us as Dwight and Angela. Brian was complete with his stapler in Jello and I had my cat Sprinkles. I can't wait to dress the boys up, I think Ben gets it this year and Jeff knows something about getting candy and that makes him cheer everytime we say Halloween. Jeff hyped up on sugar may prompt another video post!

Luke is a Walker

Luke returned from Pinetop with a suprise for Daddy...he learned how to walk! At ten months old he is the youngest Jones to accomplish the feat and is very proud of himself. He loves that he can be up with his brothers and can't wait to be able to run. We love our Lukey. He also learned what a lion says and roars on command.

Week in the Pines

The boys and I went to Pinetop last week to give Daddy a chance to study for finals. He is finished his first trimester...yeah! We stayed with my sister and the boys had so much fun. She told me to look at the glass as half full so I won't describe how hard it is for eight people to sleep well in a three bedroom house when five of them are four and under! However with little rest we managed to create some great memories that will hopefully last longer than the dark circles under my eyes.

Ben and his cousin Noah had a great time playing with anything that had to do with the movie cars and having no naps all week. Jefferson found his partner in crime, Avery who is two days younger than he and just as much a two year old. The adorable pair managed to uproot all of my mom's plants in just twenty minutes of alone time.

All in all we had a blast wearing long pants and shirts (as my mother in law would say) for the first time this year. Jeff was amazed that trees turned yellow and Ben learned what a tuque is (beanie in american). Luke didn't miss out either and drank up all the attention Aunt Nea and Grandma would give him.

Daddy got a lot accomplished while we were gone, but said life just wasn't as much fun. The boys were so happy to see him again and wrestle on the bed.
